I just wanted to update about how GREAT everything is. After about 2 months since moving home, and 6 months since starting college, I am finally busy. I like being busy, so that is a good thing.

I am working again. I am back up to Six Flags New England, still in the HR dept, except now I am in the main HR office, at least until April when the park opens, and I return to the ESO.

I am still not a big fan of Eastern, but it is better now that I don't live there. I don't have to live is a dirty place, eat crappy food, or feel like I am trapped in a dorm room because there is nothing to do (that I am interested in) and I have no way to leave. It is so nice being home where I have a kitchen to cook, a car so I can leave, and a TV for night time entertainment. All I have to do now is get that application and send it off so I am not at eastern next year.

All of my classes are going well. I have a handful of papers to write, but I have a month before they are due. Test are usually in the middle of each month, and fall on the same day, but thats ok. I get to leave early when I have a Psych test :):).

The one part about my schedule that I don't like is the Tuesday nigh chorus. I am stuck at ECSU until about 10pm. I also have to trek out there on other days for random events that we have to sing at. Don't get me wrong, I love to sing, but the timing is bad. If I am at ECSU next year, I do not see myself sticking with chorus.

I have a busy week coming up, but I like to be busy, so I will be happier then when I had all those days off. My upcoming week is as follows:

Saturday: Dentist (the work I had done before fell apart :-O )
Sunday: Church (it is my Pastor's last service)
Monday: Work (SFNE 9:30-5:30)
Tuesday: School (ECSU 7:30am-11pm this includes drive time)
Wednesday: Work (SFNE 10-5:30)
Thursday: School (ECSU 7:30am-5:00 This includes drive time)
Friday: Nutmeg day 1 (WLHS when I get there until whenever)
Liz Comes home.
Saturday: Nutmeg day 2 (WLHS Back stage ALL day and most of the night)
Sunday: Work (SFNE Job Fair 9-5 (I work 8-6) If you need a job, you should come by!)

Well, I must go eat now. I will update you on how all of this went sometime in the future, (maybe).

An End of the Year Update

Good evening everyone. Only 2 days until the new year, and I have updated more this year then in the past year. I have a bunch of news that I figured I would share with everyone since I haven't talked to many of you recently.

First, MY GRADES ARE IN! Here it is:

Political Economy of Social Issues: A
Intro to Modern World History: A-
Intro to Literature: A
Math 101: A-
3Rs: A
Computer Concepts: A
Practicum in Music (Renaissance): A

That means 17 credits addes to the 7 that I transfered in for a wapping 24 credits! My GPA is also a 3.89! I am so excited! Next semester, I start commuting, and am taking 17 credits during my Tuesday/Thursday class times. Wish me luck!

From the future to the past, I am going to Alumni day at WLHS on Tuesday, January 6, 2004. Its should be fun to see everyone, but we all know how I hate talking in front of people. I will survive!

In other news, the "gray box car" or "Matt Brown Mobile" will be on the road for the last time Friday. Thats right, my Gray 1988 Plymouth Reliant is off to the junk yard. After falling apart last week in Manchester, and it getting louder then ever, it is time. I also needed something more "reliable" then the "reliant" to get me to and from Willimantic two days a week. Friday or Saturday I pick up my new used 1992 White Oldsmobile 88 something with a real radio & clock, and more. It is time to move on from my first car...

...Anywho, I have had a great Christmas, but will be glad when this year is over, and I can start a new one. 2003 was a long year full of change, one thing I hate. Lets hope 2004 is more consistant, and goes smoother then 2003 did.

Okay, well I am off to bed. I hope everyone has a fun and exciting New Years Eve and New Years Day! Until later...

It has been ONE YEAR, and TEN DAYS since my last entry. WOW time flys!!! Not much has happened in the past year, (if you actually talk to me, you know what has happened). You know, same old same old overall! I have had a busy school year, and now there are only 22 days til graduation, and there is still so much to be done. Well, I know I do not update too often (DUH, it has been over a year!), so maybe next year I will write again...LOL.

Hello everyone. It has been a long rough week, and it is only Wednesday! this is how it goes...

Monday started the madness when I got called to guidance only to be told that "oh due to scheduling conflicts, you cannot take math next year" What does this mean? Either no math and be behind in college, or i have to go to Asnuntuc for a night class during the school year next year...just what i need more night things to do. But i figued, hey what else could go wrong.

WRONG THING TO THINK!

Yesterday, my ex/future(hopefully) coworker IMs me saying that my summer job is over before it began because our REALLY NICE ALL KNOWING AND HELPING Govonor froze state jobs, including the summer one I had. There is a small chance that i will still have it because it is a grant, and grants can only be used for what they are granted to do.

Never the less, I still have car inchurance (Spelling issue!) to pay and need to make sure I can pay it throught the year, so i do not need to hold a job during the school year (not interfearing with music, or my new night class). So, I applied online for a Job at Six Flags. This is good and bad. I liked my old job, and now i hope i get the new one, but i want the old one. I also do not see ME working at the flags in such a friendly perky place, but I can try my best :)

Well wish me luck on getting either of these jobs (or both so i can juggle them around like I do with school crapola). I have a tape due in 10 hours for spanish, so ill ttyl!

Hello all! Fixed up the page! it just needed a change! I also got new mood icons, i like these little blue things!

I was at the canal today for the journey for sight. It had it's ups and downs! People were really nasty to us. The Lions had us sit at the entrance, and these people with businesses were like "I have a business, and i will be having customers all day" and this other one gave a dirty look as she came in, then said on her way out..."There are businesses down here, you kids should not be here. You are going to cause an accient." Then she said she was going to call the police. All we were doing was stoping cars for the walk-a-thon because there was really no place to park, and how did we know what they were there for? I was so angry that Laura, Ryan, and I walked! YES I WALKED!!! It was five miles, and really was not that bad!!! It was actually fun. I should probally do it more often.

Well I must go now, Erin E gave me a list of people's journals to satisfy my bordum!!!

Today is another LONG day at the phones! I am here until 4:00pm today. I am So very tired. One coworker left yesterday, and the other leaves today. I am here until Monday. I was the last to come, and now the last to go. It has been fun, but cannot wait til I go back to school.

I dont know of anyone in my math or science classes :( I wish I did. Ill find out who is in them next week. only 4 days!!!!!!!!

I am back....the Lobster was great, and I am glad work is over....I am so very tired, but why? I did NOTHING all day!!!! :) Only 4 or 5 days left of my job...I am debating weather to work next Monday or not. It depends how I feel, and what is going on. I do need a day off but hey, I also need money :)

Still working on the first book of dummer reading. I wish that tomorrow was the 28thm so school would start. I WANT TO GO BACK!!!!

I am now hearing tomorrow is the day that the scheduals are being sent....JUST SEND THEM ALREADY WLHS!!!!

Well, Weakest link is getting good :) Talk to you tomorrow. I am at work til 6, then to the pool at 6:30 to help at that grades 6-9 pool party! I guess that means I won't write tomorrow (unless I have another boring phone day at work)

Here I am still at work, for another hour....I think. I am stil very bored....THE PHONE NEVER RINGS!!! Anyways, I just wanted to tell ya all that! :)

LOBSTER for dinner :) yum! I am soooooo hungry, i want dinner NOW, but I have to wait till 6pm. Oh well.

The cleaning guy is cleaning the office now...WOW he is actually vacuming for once :)

Let me tell you...This entry shows how bored I am! I hope I am not this bored when school starts next week.

...bored as ever, so I figured i would write a journal entry after what? 3 weeks? Anyways, been doing a weekly going out/movie renting with Katie and Steph. It is so much fun driving arout where ever I want :) It well be cool taking myself to school as well....FUN FUN!!!

Speaking of school.....
ONLY 7 DAYS....YES THAT IS ONE WEEK!!!!
I am SOOOOO excited about going back...I cannot wait to go :) I even have a bunch of new clothes, and supplies! Even washed my backpack so it could have a fresh start:). Now all I need is the updated schedual, which should have been sent out today. Hopefully I will get it by Wednesday so I can get the notebooks ETC. ready :)

Started Summer reading (via sparknotes) I have 7 days to finish, and I KNOW I CAN DO IT ON TIME THIS YEAR!!!

Oh well! havent really checked!

Had a great time with Katie, and Steph tonight...We went to frieldlys, then drove around WL trying to figure out what else we could do. We ended up staying at my house and rented a movie! We watched what Women Want. It was good, but oh so predictable! I fell asleep being the end of another LONG work week.

It was So weird driving to get them. They were the first to drive with me! It was a AWSOME time. We plan on doing it again before school starts!

Figured out that my car needs new wipers and a stearing wheel cover tonight, but it will have to wait until Thursday....PAY DAY!!!

Well, I am tired out! TTY In the morning if I remember!!!!

It is going good:) The crapy car isn't so crapy anymore. My Mom and I claned everything, and after the cleaner smells go away, it will be beter!

It is True what Steph said...Now that I have it, it seems like there is nowhere to go. I will have to MAKE places to go:P

Went to McDonalds today, Walmart, and the car wash. FREEDOM!!!!! It is great:)

About that play....My mom wants to go, but doesn't really know if she wants to go. I am really not in the mood to go anymore. I am kinda Tired!

Well, tomorrow is open besides a party tomorrow night, and a movie at noon, I am free. I need to go to friendlys for cyclones...I have a buy one get one free coupon that expires. Maybe I'll drive my self there later:)

Driving Test

AHHHHH! The driving test went great today! I passed!!!! :). About 7 am in the morn, katie and I are going down to the DMV to get the license that we have been waiting for!

No more Monday and Wednesday classes, What are we gonna do? All I know it will be nice getting myself around where I want to go without having to BEG anyone!

I was thinking about going to that East Granby play tomorrow that is at WLHS, but have no one to go with :(. Anyone wanna go? I hate going and sitting alone, maybe someone would want to go with me...I'll Drive :)

THIS WAS A GREAT MOVIE!!!!!! I just went to see it. I thought it was gonna be a boring movie about a moment in History, but it was not. It had its good parts, then there was a bit of blood, not my favorite thing to see in the world.

IT WAS A GREAT MOVIE!!!!!

It was also a tear jearker, and held a few surprises! I recomend seeing it...only Rated PG-13! Maybe It will come out on video and we can watch it in US History Second Semester!!!

I wont give details for those readers who havent yet seen it, BUT GO SEE IT!!! I would go see it again!!!

I just Finished watching Charlotte's Web on the Disney channel. This made me sad. I was not expecting it to be on, but after Boy Meets World, it came on.

I know you are wondering why this classic movie made me sad. Well, It has always been one of my favorites. It also reminds me of my Grandma that died 5 years ago. It was Her favorite as well. Her and I always use to watch it together on video when either she was at my house, or me at her's. I really miss her. :(

Does anyone out there have a Charlotte's Web Soundtrack that they don't want. Can anyone try to burn me a CD of it off of a music service? PLEASE, I NEED THE SOUNDTRACK. I would even pay you!!!!! I am begging!

Finally July 1st!!!!

Hey all, it is July!!! Only 3 days til the fourth, which means that a day off in the middle of the week. This is good so I can rest in the middle, but bad because it is like haveing 2 Mondays. I will get over it!

The carnaval is this Thursday-Saturday. It should be fun. I am working in the soda booth again with Mrs. Plante. My class is also haveing a fundraiser of face painting. I will go back and fourth, but will be at the soda booth mostly.

I am outraged!!!!! My gateway monitor alomst started fire in my house on Wednesday, and my warrenty was out. So we just got a new used one on Thursday, and guess what!?!?!?!?! IT BROKE THIS MORNING!!!!! I am glad this one has a 90 warrenty. Because they are closed tomorrow, I'll bring it back on Tuesday to trade it in. Until then, I am on a small 15 inch monitor.

Well my clothes are almost done and I have many things to do today. Ill talk to all you livejournal readers again later today if i feel like it, and have a little bit of extra time!!!!!!!
